Age: More than 10 years Hi, I'm a new member. I may have the longest-lived Calypso ever, and that's with no preventative maintenance and no interim repairs.

I've been lucky, I know, but the old guy's luck has run out. I need a repair manual and exhaustive searching of this forum and of the Googles themselves has not helped. Do you have a PDF REPAIR manual for model 11? Alternatively, does anyone have the manual diagnostic codes for the unit? I need to force a spin / drain without the RINSE, and that is not an option in the automatic mode.

Age: 1-5 years Hi, So I realize that there are a ton of issues with these washers but this one has not been problematic until recently. We bought this washer in early 2004. The problem we're having is intermittent and we never see any diagnostic codes displayed.

Every few weeks or so, typically during the rinse cycle, the washer will go into a 'start/stop' phase. We hear either the pump or motor (I'm assuming) start for a second, then stop, then start, then stop, etc. The countdown timer will stay at 21 for say 15 minutes or so then finally tick down to 20 and stay there for awhile.

Last night it took about 2 hours to complete a cycle, other times it just adds 10-15 minutes to the cycle, but on one occasion it took about 10 hours. After the cycle finally completes, the clothes appear to have been washed properly. The only other issue we've noticed (and I don't know if this is related) is that every once in awhile dark clothing will have soap stains on them. So I'm thinking there's maybe something stuck in the pump or somewhere? Maybe a big clog of dog hair?

My border collie sheds like crazy. But if there were a clog, shouldn't get some kind of diagnostic error code displayed?

Or could this be some electical component that's beginning to fail? I'm not interested in paying for a repair man at this point but I would like to try and fix it myself if the problem could be narrowed down to a specific component. Thanks in advance!
