Hello Don, I would like to clarify with a little more detail this solution. Elm327 Ver1 5a Software Engineer there. I have Office 2010 Professsional Plus SP1 in English with Spanish and French Language Packs. I'm using MDT 2012 to deploy it.

I want to update to SP2 so went to the updates folder and: 1.- I deleted the files finishing in sp1 ex: clientshared64muisp1-en-us, officesuitewwsp1-x-none, etc. 2.- I downloaded the file officesp2010-kb2687455-fullfile-x86-en-us 3.- I copied all the equivalent files (that are not labeled sp1 neither sp2 anymore) Ex: I copied clientshared64mui-en-us, officesuiteww-x-none, etc Right now the update folder has exactly the same files it had before but with the sp2 version instead of the sp1. My question is, since I'm using ES and FR Language Packs, do I need to download the file: languagepacksp2010-kb2687449-fullfile-x86-en-us and copy any file in the update fodler? If I have to do it then it will imply that I will need to add new files (not previously existing files in my update folder). This is why I have some doubts. I'm using Sharepoint Workspace, do I need to install any Sharepoint SP2 update? I'm not using MS Project/Visio / Proofing tools.

I really appreciate you kind support and thank you very much for it! Javi from Barcelona. Hi Javi, I'm not personally familiar with Multilanguage installations, but, this article may help: If you are integrating the LP into the installation (by using the 'AddLanguage' element), then you should add the relevant SP2 file for the LP into the Updates folder. If you are installing the LP *after* the main Office installation has concluded, the you *may* have a different installation source folder for the LP and there may be an Updates folder as part of that installation source, so you would place the SP2 files for the LP into that Updates folder. For SPW, this is part of the ProPlus installation, so the necessary SP2 files are a part of the main Office client SP2 fileset. If you do already deploy SPD or SPF-client-COM (these are not part of the main product installation), there are additional SP2 files for those.
